Review : Decent product but ONLY FOR THE MONEY
I bought a 100′ roll. First of all the most important thing to realize is that fatmat is a good product FOR THE MONEY. however if you buy it your only buying it to save money NOT to get the best product. You get what you pay for!
with that in mind its actually a great product for the floor, most of its big flaws are eliminated if you reserve its use for just that. The 2 big complaints in the forums that i agree with are this #1- it smells to high heaven, even after 2 weeks of airing out outside of the car i still needed to air it our for another week once i heated in during install. if you cannot put a car cover on it or park in shade and live in a hot area DO NOT BUY!!!
#2- when it gets hot and over time it falls off of vertical surfaces.
it is NOT as good a product from a quiet perspective as dynamat or stinger roadkill but then you will pay 2-3 times this for them. it is MUCH thinner,smells and it harder to install. However it is actually a decent product for…
